The first & foremost step involves professional photographs of the patient to be taken in pre-defined positions and with a standard background, for documentation and postoperative analysis of the results by the team.

Surgical markings :

The next step is to do the donor and recipient area markings. The recipient area markings include the hairline pre-determination that must look natural and fulfill the patient’s wants and needs. Also, the approval of the patient is taken before proceeding further.

Slit Creation:

The very next step after marking is to administer local anesthesia in the recipient area and create slits/ microincisions with needles or blades. Micro openings are made in the recipient area where the follicular units will be implanted. Dr Bhavesh Gupta prefers to use SP-90, SP-91, and SP-65A blades for slit creations. Graft Extraction:
